Example Triathlon Work Out


Work on steam line off wall, first two strokes leave forward arm in stream line position and catch up.  Focus on straight line swimming.  Build within each distance.


Warm up:

300 Swim, 200 Pull, 200 Kick


Light the fuse:  

10 x 50 odd sprint, even distance per stroke , 15 second rest interval


Drop the bomb:    2 times through this 1650 set, Second 1650 faster then the first.  10 sec rest on each  no breaks at distance change.  Start at 40: and your time will be your 1650 time if you subtract 2mim from top  easy 100 kick 100 swim between 1650’s.

    150 Sprint


The clean up:

8 x 50 odd easy even fast


Warm down.

Drink some chocolate milk!
